Sinopsis:

Cuando el ex jugador de la liga nacional de fútbol americano Paul Crewe (Adam Sandler) es enviado a prisión, el alcaide le obliga a convertir un variado grupo de presos en un equipo. A pesar de las pocas posibilidades de formar un equipo, los reclusos se unen cuando descubren contra quién van a jugar: los guardias. Con la ayuda de los reclusos Nate Scarborough (Burt Reynolds) y Custodio (Chris Rock), Crewe ofrece a los presos la oportunidad de vengarse en un enfrentamiento demoledor donde todo vale. La "Máquina maligna" regresa al campo de juego en esta nueva versión del clásico de 1974.
